Marisol Rosas promoted to executive producer at Univision San Diego

Marisol Rosas has been promoted to executive producer at Univision San Diego.

A more than 27-year veteran of the Entravision-owned station, she was most recently news producer of the 6 pm newscast.

In her new role, Rosas will be overseeing production of daily news programs and content across all platforms.

Rosas started her career at the San Diego station as an intern in 1996. She was hired a year later as assignment managing editor.

During her three decades at the station, she has held various roles, including producer for morning show “Despierta San Diego,” before producing 6 and 11 pm El Centro and Costa Central local newscasts from from San Diego.

Rosas has also held social media manager and 11 pm newscast producer roles.
