KELLY FRANK has been named Director of News and Digital Content for Dispatch Broadcasting’s WBNS-TV in Columbus, OH. That’s the CBS affiliate there. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 UPDATE: I’m saddened to tell you of the passing of one of the true gentlemen of our business, MARSELIS ‘DIV’ PARSONS, who died this morning of cancer at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife and daughter. ‘Div’ (and no one knows how he got the nickname) was the longtime news director and anchor for WCAX-TV in Burlington, VT, before retiring in 2009. Thursday, May 7, 2015 UPDATE #2 KALEE SCOLATTI, the news director for KTMF/KWYB-TV, the ABC/FOX duopoly in Missoula, MT, was shot and killed last night in her home in Missoula. She was 34. Kalee appears to be one of the victims of a double murder and attempted suicide Details are sketchy, but here’s an article (updated Thursday night May 7, 2015) from The Missoulian, the local newspaper, and here’s the story from her station’s website.
