Monday, December 16, 2013 UPDATE: Gary Coursen 1958-2013 Greetings: I’m very sorry to report the death of WKBN/WYTV (Youngstown, OH) news director GARY COURSEN. We told you just last night that Gary was hospitalized in Cleveland fighting cancer in his brain and sinuses. He lost his battle this afternoon around 12:25, with his family by his side. The station has posted this obituary for the longtime employee, who first joined the staff as a photographer in 1979 and rose through the ranks to news director, a job he held for the last ten years.
